What Is the Universal Hermetic Ray Kabbalah?
The Universal Hermetic Ray Kabbalah is an ancient system of wisdom — a sacred body of esoteric knowledge that has existed since the dawn of time. It reveals divine principles that serve as a roadmap for remembering who we truly are: powerful, sovereign, and divine beings. It offers profound answers to life’s deepest questions:
Who am I? What am I? Where did I come from? What is my purpose? Where am I going?
At its heart lies the Tree of Life, a living glyph that mirrors the energetic blueprint of our perfected self. As we work with and study the Tree, it illuminates where we are out of harmony with our divine essence and guides us gently back into alignment and balance.
The Hermetic principle “As within, so without; as above, so below” reminds us that our outer reality reflects our inner state. Through the practice of Kabbalah, transformation begins within, allowing divine order and truth to unfold in our lives.
The word Kabbalah means “to receive.” This sacred process teaches us how to open ourselves — through contemplation, inquiry, and the desire for transformation — to the flow of divine wisdom. The Tree of Life acts as a vessel and guide for this alchemical unfolding, showing us how to receive through communion with our own higher consciousness.
Predating organized religion, the Universal Hermetic Ray Kabbalah is an energetic, living path rather than a theoretical study. It reveals the eternal link between humanity, the angelic realms, and the celestial bodies — the living geometry of divine creation.
Over ten months, we ascend the Tree of Life, engaging in sacred rituals and spiritual practices that transmute the lower self and awaken the divine within. This journey invites deep release of subconscious patterns and illuminates the higher light within. Each of the ten spheres, or sephiroth, holds a unique frequency and key to divine understanding. As we move through them, we learn to see ourselves and life through ten sacred lenses — dissolving shadows, revealing truth, and awakening the wisdom of our divine nature.
What Is the Tree of Life and Why Ascend It?
The Tree of Life is the divine blueprint — the mind of God and, by extension, the mind of all. It maps our creative potential and serves as a guide for manifesting in the physical world. Contained within it are the mysteries of our awakening: the keys that lead us home to our divine self, which is our birthright.
Ascending the Tree is a ten-month journey of profound transformation — a process of purification and remembrance. As you move through its levels, you reorganize your inner and outer worlds, release what no longer serves, and open to receive the fullness of who you truly are. In meeting and transcending your deepest fears, you integrate fully with your divine essence.
The journey begins the moment you choose it. This is an ancient, mystical path of self-realization that leads you to experience your divinity in a wholly new way — aligned with your true purpose and higher self.
As taught in the Modern Mystery School, the Universal Kabbalah is a path of human progression that transcends religious boundaries. It is not about dogma or belief — it is an energetic initiation into living truth.
The Four Ascensions
Each ascension is a sacred initiation, held over a weekend, in which the teacher opens the energetic gateway for you to rise into a new realm of awareness. After each ascension, you will spend approximately three months integrating the energy of the sephiroth you have entered.
K1 — Malkuth
The realm of the physical and the manifest. Here you purify and organize your material life — your body, home, health, and finances. You clear apathy and bring order to the tangible world, grounding your spiritual growth in practical action.
K2 — Yesod, Hod, Netzach, and Tipharet
The realm of the emotional and mental bodies. Here deep healing takes place — unconscious beliefs and traumas rise to the surface for transformation. Inner child wounds are embraced and released. You learn to master creation through thought, cultivating balance, self-love, and reverence as you prepare to ascend higher.
K3 — Geburah and Chesed
The realm of discernment and compassion. You explore the sacred balance between severity and mercy — when to stand firm, when to yield, and how to act from divine strength rather than fear. This stage amplifies your energy and prepares you for the holy ascent into the supernals.
K4 — Binah, Chokmah, and Kether: The Supernals
The final, most sacred ascent. This retreat-based initiation spans three days of deep immersion and surrender. Here, you release the personality as it was and merge with the light of your divine essence. You connect to the highest spheres of creation and remember your eternal home within the divine. From this place of union, the fruits of your inner work begin to manifest in the physical world — the divine becoming form through you.

Kabbalah 4 "K4" : (Friday-Sunday) 30th October to 1 November 2026 (Retreat)
Study Groups:
Via Zoom, from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
These are mandatory to attend.
Please note that should you not attend you will unlikely be able to continue your ascension. In very rare cases you may be allowed to to catch up at the discretion of the teacher.
