Reiki is a gentle but yet powerful healing modality that originates from Japan. Even as it has gained popularity in the modern day, the roots of Reiki are far older. Reiki is a Japanese word that translates to ”divinely guided life force energy”. Rei means “God’s Wisdom or Higher Power” while Ki meaning “life force energy.”

About the INCENTRE Reiki practitioners

The practitioners of INCENTRE harness the power of the Ensofic Ray, using the Usui method. By its very nature, Reiki is harmonious - it does not seek to impose or force. Rather, it works in line with the client’s higher good, physically, mentally, emotionally or otherwise. The Reiki energy immediately connects with the client without any ceremonies or intentions on the part of the practitioner. The energy has a high intelligence and will go where it is needed. Reiki will only work for the highest and best good of the client without projection from the practitioner. The practitioner is simply a conduit for the healing energy.

What is Reiki?

All living things in this world are made up of energy. Reiki is also energy. It is Pure Universal Life Force and can be used for the highest good and healing of all living beings. This energy that we call Reiki is known across all ancient traditions despite being known by different names.

In Japan, this life force energy is called “ki” in China, it is called “chi” In India, it is known as “prana” and is consistently referenced and worked with in the practice of yoga. Whatever you choose to call it, Reiki is a modality that promotes truly living life alive. Reiki can activate all the channels in our body, allowing us to receive this energy through us and use it to benefit ourselves and others.

What to expect?

The treatment will be held at INCENTRE in a tranquil setting and is approximately 60 to 90 minutes long depending on the needs of the client in question. The practitioner will be holding the space to ensure that the experience is peaceful and calm. Our treatment rooms are gridded with crystals to ensure that the environment is serene, light and joyful. There might be light music playing in the background to enhance the relaxing experience.

The client will be lying down and is welcomed to rest or even fall asleep while the Reiki does its healing magic through the hands of the practitioner. The treatment consists of a number of hand positions across the client’s body. It has minimal physical contact and the healing is flowed rather than applied.

Reiki is a complementary therapy that can work alongside medical professionals to ease side effects and promote the body’s own innate ability to recover. Reiki is an unobtrusive energy and can be used safely by all ages and at any state of health, from a newborn baby to the frail and elderly, pregnant mothers and surgical patients. Unlike most other forms of manual therapy there are virtually no cautions or contraindications to treatment.

What we recommend for optimal results in your Reiki treatment

While individual sessions can be booked, we recommend a series of 3 sessions done one week apart. Each session of Reiki can shift various stagnant physical challenges and emotional patterns to bring about balance

The First Reiki session

The first Reiki session works to rebalance the left & right brain hemispheres, creating more possibilities for healing of old patterns. It also heals physical conditions. There will also be hands on healing to prepare the body to receive the 13 rays of Ensofic Reiki healing in the second session.

This is not to say that the first session will not heal other aspects of the client. The energy flows to wherever the client needs. Reiki has an intelligence of its own and so, if a client needs something more than the rebalancing, the energy will flow to where it is needed while also rebalancing the brain.

The Second Reiki Session

In the second Reiki session, the 13 Ensofic rays are anchored to the client’s structure and will support him or her in releasing any unwanted negative habits. This includes challenging thought patterns and emotions.

The 13 rays remain connected to you through powerful symbols and support your healing on all levels.

The Third Reiki Session

At the third Reiki session the client chooses to either repeat the physical healing session if required or there is the option to work on a specific emotional or thought pattern.
