Embracing Spring

The Spring Equinox….

Spring is the season where life bursts forth. After the hibernation of the dark colder months, the seeds that have been germinating, ideas that have been nurtured now have their time to emerge into the Light.

Ostara or the Spring Equinox is the point of perfect balance between light and dark. Night and day are of equal length and there is perfect equilibrium. It is a time where masculine and feminine energies are in harmony and where there in outer and inner parity.

In the UK, we ushered in this glorious day on 20th March and are very much now in the energies of Spring.

As we move forward in the year, the sun gains in in strength and the abundance and fertility of the Earth is revealed. While the darker months are important times of reflection, the lighter months are times for action and expansion.

All things in their natural order and cycles.

Ostara is named for the Germanic goddess of spring who emerges at this time to restore nature from her slumber and stimulates the growth and abundance of all the gifts that the Earth has to offer.

As the days grow longer, the Light shall only continue to wax and make the days brighter; but on this sacred day of Ostara, we pay homage to that balance and celebrate the hints of what is yet to come.

This is an auspicious time for growth and renewal! If you’re feeling that need for rebirth and renewal!

As we break for the Easter bank holiday weekend I invite you to take some time for yourself to soak-in these wonderful energies, allow your cells to absorb then like a sponge, bathe in the excitement of what is to come and find a way to celebrate this rebirth and to work with new ideas them for your own growth and development in alignment with the Light.
